Fleetline Bus

The quickest way to spot the difference bertween Fleetlines and german origional type 2 split window buses:
 
• nose panel with a pressed VW emblem, German split windscreen buses had a removable VW emblem.
• early engine lid  with pushbutton lock early German split windscreen buses had a t-handle.
• pull type door handles
•  corner windows on fleetline Kombi’s,large load bin on fleetline pick up
• small rear tailgate but with an indentation above the handle
• front and rear bumbers with over riders

Many people call all split windscreen Volkswagen buses Fleetlines. However Fleetline kombi’s are Brazilian split screen buses.The Brazilian split buses were sold in 1975, and discontinued in about mid 1976.
Options available were: the most common seen 15 window kombi (with rear corner windows) panel van, and single cab pickup with a larg over sized load bin.
